Want to inspire others by sharing your international student journey, gain valuable writing experience, and be eligible for a chance to receive a $1,000 CAD towards your tuition? Apply now for a Study in BC Writer’s Award.
You must be a full- or a part-time international student currently enrolled at a BC post-secondary institution, even if you are currently living in your home country and attending online classes due to COVID-19.
Winner(s) will work closely with BCCIE Communications to develop blog topics and content. To receive funding, you will be required to submit the following:
• Three (3) original unpublished blog posts. Each post must be between 300-400 word and must include at least one (1) photo.
• One (1) photo album with at least ten (10) high-resolution photos (in JPEG format).

Download and complete the application form. Email the completed form and additional required documentation in ONE PDF with the subject line reading “Study in BC Writers’ Award Application” to communication@bccie.bc.ca.
Once the requirements are completed, a cheque for the full Award value ($1,000 CAD) will be sent directly to the BC post-secondary institution you are attending to be applied towards your tuition fees.
