Bordering the Pacific Ocean, the North Coast and Nechako region is an area of forests, mountains, and rugged coastlines. Prince Rupert, Terrace, and Kitimat are the largest cities in this region.
The North Coast and Nechako is also home to the ancient Great Bear Rainforest and the Haida Gwaii archipelago — where you’ll find one of the last authentic examples of a coastal First Nations village.
Terrace’s Coast Mountain College is a public post-secondary institution in this region.
